Forties
Today is the last day that I can say I'm in my forties. Tomorrow I hit 50! I celebrated tonight with two good friends at a local joint called Crickets. It's this great little bar, a whole in the wall really, but a place that just feels right. You always see someone you know, and can always count on the best cheese burger around. Tonight is was cheese burgers and Miller High Life!
I can't think of a better place to celebrate the end of my forties. Good Food, Good Friends, Good Fun!
I was living the High Life tonight! Reminiscing younger days and looking forward to older ones.
Good-bye 49! Hello 50!
I turned 50 in 2014. The first time I told someone I was 50, I laughed. It just seemed too weird. In my head, I'm 30.
